AIMS & OBJECTIVES:

Construction of Namakoti Sthupa:
  • To construct Sri Arunachaleswara Namakoti Sthupa near the Giri Pradakshina area in Arunachalam (Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India - Pin: 600093).
  • To distribute 'Arunachala Siva Nama' books in various languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, English, and Hindi, either for free, at a nominal price, or at full price.
  • To collect the filled books and enshrine them in the statue.
  • To organize Pooja and Annadanam (food distribution) on this occasion.




  Sevas (Charitable Services):
Free distribution of food, fruits, juices, buttermilk, clothes, medicines, and other essential items to saints residing near the Giri Pradakshina area.

  Religious Literature & Publications:
To publish, print, and distribute Hindu religious books and literature.

  Temple Restoration & Maintenance:
To identify old and dilapidated Hindu temples and arrange for their renovation, Pooja, Abhishekam, and other religious services.

  Funeral & Last Rites:
To perform last rites and provide proper honors for orphaned deceased individuals.

  Support for Marriage of Underprivileged Girls:
To identify and support economically disadvantaged and unmarried girls by arranging marriages.

  Accommodation & Facilities for Pilgrims:
To construct and provide shelter, water, and food at Arunachalam for tourists and pilgrims visiting from various parts of the world.

  Promotion of Hindu Religion & Spirituality:
To organize religious programs with the guidance of saints and priests.
To propagate the teachings of great Hindu philosophers, thinkers, reformers, and saints.

  Preservation of Traditional Hindu Values:
To promote values such as respect for parents, reverence for Brahmins, and other traditional Hindu customs.

  Educational Support:
To provide education for the underprivileged and promote Vedic studies.

  Old Age Homes & Orphanages:
To establish and manage homes for the elderly and orphanages for destitute children.

To offer the best possible services to tourists visiting Arunachalam.

  Gosala (Cow Protection & Welfare):
To construct or lease Gosalas and provide facilities for the welfare of cows.

To encourage charitable values, literature, science, art, education, and culture.

  Fundraising & Financial Management:
To receive and manage funds in the form of donations, gifts, fees, and loans for achieving the society’s objectives.

The society operates as a non-profit organization as per the Income Tax Act of 1961.

To provide relief to the poor and advance public welfare initiatives.

Sri Moravaneni Rama Chandra Rao
IIT Mumbai

Sri Moravaneni Rama Chandra Rao fondly known as M.R.Rao by near and dear was born in the year 1959 to the couple Sri M.Venkata Swamayya and Smt Lakshmi Narasamma in the rural village named Yerrabalem, Korisapade Mandal, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Sri M.R.Rao is an IITian, Mumbai by completing his Master of Engineering Degree in M.Tech (Structures). He entered into Wedlock with Smt. Sita Devi in the year 1986 and was blessed with a son and grandson.

Sri M.R.Rao worked as an Assistant Executive Engineer for 9 years In the Irrigation Department, Andhra Pradesh. Later established a Junior College, Ongole with due interest in Teaching field, particularly in the field of Maths. In 1999, under the dynamic teachings of M.R.Rao, in EAMCET, 100% qualification in Maths was made possible. With this tremendous success, joined Sri Chaitanya Vidya Institutions and worked for 12 longs years in various places Vizag, Ongole, Tirupathi, Vijayawada as Maths Faculty. During April 2017, joined as an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Department in NRI Institute of Technology (Autonomous) and achieved success in producing Engineers to the bright future of Indian Union.

In the year 2022, Mr M.R.Rao advanced a step ahead by dedicating himself in the field of religious consciousness and established Sri Arunachaleswara Namakoti Charitable Society with an intention primarily to serve His Holiness Sri Arunachaleswara Swamy and profoundly interested in establishing Namakoti Stupam at Arunachalam and intended to perform Aruna Giri Arathi, apart from, supporting the poor students in their academics and excelling them in their bright future and thus building Bharat Mahaan both intelligently and devotionally.

To develop and utilize the funds received through donations from devotees for religious and charitable purposes.
